Situation Sunday # 72

Welcome! On a recent camping trip we rented movies from the RedBox. One movie really was crappy but it lead me to think this makes for a great Situation....So on with the show.

Situation # 1
It is Christmas Eve and you still have shopping to do. You get to the mall and drive all over looking for a spot.....None in sight. finally you spot a site and by the time you get to it....you notice that car has taking up 2 spots. Your boiling point has finally been broken and you leave a note on their windshield....telling them what a Jerk they are. After you have shopped it is late and a lot of cars have left. And you are far away in the parking lot.....as you go to your car you pass the jerks car and notice the note is gone. You get in your car and the jerks car blocks you from leaving. They get out of the car and it is a gang of 5 hoodlums, telling you that you has dissed them now you are going to pay! The security officer comes over and they shoot him. You ram your car into theirs to give you a way to leave in a hurry......they follow. You reach for your cell phone and it is dead. The streets are deserted.....What do you do?
Situation # 2
You are going to meet your future in-laws and family. You totally do not like them. They are rude, ignorant and selfish people. Every week they get together for Sunday dinner.....How are you going to handle this?

Situation # 1

You are driving down a lone country road. Very few cars are on the road if any. You have no cell service. And to make matters worse you are 30 miles from the nearest town. It is a beautiful warm sunny day...as you go along a bee flies into your window......little know to you but it is a Queen bee and her workers are slowly surrounding your car......thousand's of her bees are on your car tyring to get close to her.........What do you do?

Situation # 2

The capital of your city is celebrating their tulip bloom. It is a big celebration. The media is there along with millions of town folk and tourist. They have some of the rarest tulips....spectacular in color....You are there with your child or one hat is in your care.....They want cotton candy and you tell them not now and they throw a tantrum and start running through the tulips and destroying them as they run a muck....what do you do?

With the recession going on your family is having a hard time getting everything paid and just keeping your head above water. You have asked your 2 young adult children to help out....(they are 16 and17).....They agree to get part time jobs and each make out about $150 a week. But when it comes time to forking over some of the money to help out....they decide to keep it and waste it on clothes and junk food.....What do you do?

You are out hiking in a remote wooded area and come across a serial killer in the process of killing his 24 person. He doesn't know you are watching him....What do you do?

Situation # 1
Valentines day has come you have planned a special day for you and your lover of 5 years. You think they are going to ask you to take it to the next level of your relationship, and perhaps ask you to spend the rest of your life with them. As the evening progresses they say they have a surprise for you at 9pm.......At 8:30 pm comes the door bell rings and it is your Mother she has come into town and wants to stay with you what do you do?
Situation # 2
You are out cross country skiing alone in a large wooded State Park....You venture off the path and ski down a little hill. You fall and hit your head and are unconscious for a few hours. When you awake you notice it is total darkness....night has come....and you don't know how to get back out of the park and too your car....You don't have your cell phone with you! What do you do?

Sorry, so late in posting.....The BF thought it would be good to let me sleep....I was having awesome dreams and forced my self to get up at 2pm! UGH most of the day is gone....I slept 13 hours....On with the Situations!!!

Situation # 1

You and your family leave the great North East in the winter for a few months. You have this employee that you count on to check things out, and turn the heat up if it gets frigid cold and let the water run if necessary......you get a call from a neighbor that also checks things out.....the heat went off and all the pipes froze....how do you handle your employee now?

Situation # 2

You have won a trip to NYC! All expenses paid for you and 3 other people. You arrive there and a car meets you to take you to your hotel, as you all get to the hotel you notice it is in a run down part of the city.....And the hotel has a lot of derelicts hanging around. Your driver speaks no English or Spanish....and communication with him is not a option. Between all 4 of you you have $500....What do you do?

You are on vacation, in a warm tropical location. You decide to try the Jet Ski and go out on the ocean a bit. As you are enjoying your self you decided to just stop and take in the scenery, all of the sudden a huge whale comes and swallows you and the Jet ski whole....You are in the whales belly what do you do?

Situation #1- You are in charge of Search-Rescue and Recovery of a small coastal town. At low tide, woman clearly distraught was walking along the rock jetty, with her infant child in her arms. She drops her child accidentally between the rocks. It is a 4-5 foot drop.....water goes between at high tide. Each boulder weighs close to a ton. What and how do you plan the rescue....What do you do?

Situation # 2

Your Mother is in a Nursing home. That truly is the best in the county where you live. You visit her a few times a week. Take home her laundry and wash her clothes; You take her out to functions at your club, 3-4 times a summer. You have 7 siblings that 6 of them live in the same county. One other sibling visits her once a week, and tries to take her out then. The other sibling hates the home and wants to move her to a home nearer her, that also her father in law is in. You totally despise that home. Having done private duty in it for a year, you have stated if she goes there you will not visit. You know the other sibling's mind is made up.....What do you do?

You have waited 15 years to go regular at this job....you are next in line for the promotion. Due to one union rule after another it seems like it is taking forever. So as you wait, you are just the sub. The boss in charge thinks the regulars are the next best thing to sliced bread and they can do no wrong. Every time you plan a trip or medical appointment.....the person who you cover for decides they need that day. What do you do?

Situation # 1


You and a friend are out exploring back roads in the mountains. It is raining pretty hard and lighting and thunder. It looks like 9pm with the skies so dark, but it is 11am in the morning. You are on a rugged road, that is dirt and only one lane. There is grass growing in the middle of the road, and that shows you not many cars travel this way. About 5 miles into the woods you notice a man walking, with no houses around you joke that it is a mountain man. 5 minutes later a tree crashes on your car, your companion is out cold with just a bump on their head, but they are trapped. You are able to get out. With thoughts running through your head about the movie Deliverance......What do you do?

Situation # 2
You are driving down the road and you notice the car in front of you hits a deer and doesn't even bother to stop. It has a fawn with it that is now all alone, and about 1 hour old. It runs and hides next to the road waiting for it's Momma to get up....Clearly it won't......What do you do?

Situation # 2 } About 5 years ago you had a relationship with this guy, it lasted about a year. It didn't seem to last and it ended. Your phone rings one night and there is this woman on the other end crying, she says she is living with him going on 3 years now. He has started to talk a lot about you and has put pictures out around the house of the 2 of you. You have no clue as to why, you have not spoken to him in 5 years.......How do you handle it?

# 3} You have been chatting awhile on line, at one of the numerous dating sites. You think you have met Mr. or Mrs. Wonderful, your soul mate. You are about to meet at a very nice restaurant,after 7 months of deep serious chat. When you get there you realize that your date is a Siamese Twin. They are attached at the head. One is facing one way, and the other the opposite. What do you do?

You and a close friend are out on a Holiday together. You have gone to a remote town in Alaska. On this day the weather is beautiful, it is a rare 50 degree day, and have decided on a hike. You both have ventured out of town, about 1 mile out. You are picture taking and slowely realize a Polar bear is standing 50 feet away from you. He is on the trail back to town.......he comes towards you and the only thing in front of you is the edge of a cliff. What would you do.....

You give them time to cool off and go check on them......They have snuck out a window, night comes and they still are not there......What do you do?

You are out hiking in a State Forest.....You and a friend....Three miles into the woods you come across what looks like a crashed UFO......What do you do?

You are staying out to your brothers watching his children. Your boyfriend gets jeolous of the bond family has with you. He refuses to go biking ,hiking or anything. He says he might go boating but refuses to let you bring the kids.....What do you do?

You boss has invited you and another co-worker out to supper. You both are up for the same promotion, and only one will get it. The boss is taking you both to his favorite restaurant, that happens to be owned by another member of his family. You order a steak well done. The entree comes and is set before you....You notice it is way under cooked, as you start on the vegetables you notice a few strands of hair in the mashed potatoes........What do you do, or say when your waiter comes and asks you how everything is?
