Treasures of the Heart

Another beautiful day in the North East. I feel like this cartoon caption,,,I haven't went to the gym in 2 days,,ugh and I feel it when I don't get there. I have been going again through all the things I have collected over the years and cleaning or organizing would be a better word. I changed around the front spare room and right now it is my favorite room. Today I am going to go buy a rug and new curtains. Of course {J} and I disagree on the rug,,,I want a oval oriental rug,,,he wants a 12 by 12 carpet,,that is blah,,dull. So I am sure this shall be a fun trip. I came across this,,,And I want to share it--------You Are My Sister-----You are my life. We grew to know right from wrong. Together we smiled and cried. We live in different places but our hearts were together. We smiled and walked our own ways and then we met once more. We found love in our hearts. We had our faults and our pride to hide. Sometimes I wish I could cry out loud to you and tell you how much I have missed you, Your my sister and I love you for that.....Author M.M.K----My sister. I am so glad I have saved that and hope you enjoyed reading it,,,Well now the Road trip begins,,,,Happy Trails-------------------------------------------A Horse, A Chicken & A Harley> On the farm lived a chicken and a horse, both of whom loved to play > together. One day the two were playing, when the horse fell into a bog> and > began to sink. Scared for his life, the horse whinnied for the chicken> to go > get the farmer for help!> > Off the chicken ran, back to the farm. Arriving at the farm, he searched> and > searched for the farmer, but to no avail, for he had gone to town with> the > only tractor.> Running around, the chicken spied the farmer's new Harley. After tying the other end to the rear bumper> of > the farmer's bike, the chicken then drove slowly forward and, with the> aid > of the powerful bike, rescued the horse!> Happy and proud, the chicken rode the Harley back to the farmhouse, and> the > farmer was none the wiser when he returned.> > The friendship between the two animals was cemented: Best Buddies. Best > Pals.> > A few weeks lat er, the chicken fell into a mud pit; and soon he, too,> began > to sink and cried out to the horse to save his life!> > The horse thought a moment, walked over, and straddled the large puddle.> > Looking underneath, he told the chicken to grab his hangy-down thing,> and he > would then lift him out of the pit. The chicken got a good grip, and the> > horse pulled him up and out, saving his life.> > The moral of the story?> > (Yep, you bet there IS a moral!)> > "When You're Hung Like A Horse, You Don't Need A Harley !
