Yikes, it's me

Dam, it has been a long time since I blogged. Kinda missed that therapeutic activity in my life. Once I realized ( J ) had been visiting my blog and trying to over analyze every single word I said or trying to find his own meaning, it kinda deterred me my pleasure. But in reality I have been busy and for the most part lazy. I stopped doing SS due to the fact that those that played didn't share their answers and unless you had a tracker on it you never did see what they answered. And most of them forgot the main rule, No Cell phone when a bear was chasing them....most seemed to dial 911 and had help there before the bear devoured them- took the fun out of it for me, I tell ya! Ok- it is like summer here is over...and it went to fast for me. Surely must be a sign of aging. I camped a few times and still have a few more trips planned this month and next. I got a Jet ski and played on the river a lot. Learned how to trailer it, dock it, fuel it and all the works. I even live on the edge and ski standing up. I truly love it. Have been on face book and twitter-doing my tweets twits and one liners. Work still sucks for me...I work to pay for my health insurance and my life style has been sooo cramped lately....I had to let all the help go---No more maid,gardener-cook...or personal sex pleasure guy...I have to do everything my self....and I am not that good at it all. Feel free to send donations...or PSPG....Till then Happy Trails!!!

Update On Me

Boy, my post's have been getting far apart, and I can truly blame it on Facebook, and now I have found FarmTown on there. It is a virtual game where you have you guessed it a farm. When I reached level #5, I became a Farmer. Now I am at level #6 so as you can see I am moving very slow in that game. As for my own little farm (garden) that is doing great but that too takes a lot of my time. Yesterday I bought 3 bags of a new mulch. It looks like red cedar mulch but made with reclyed tires. Not sure how good that is going to be. Usually I do research on things before I use them, This time I did not. And again this year I have seen a woodchuck eyeing my flowers to eat. I had the dog chase him out of the yard. I find it sorta funny to see him there. I live in the city, my yard is fenced in, he so needs to move out to the country. I celebrated my birthday the other day, not sure yet how I feel about that I have mixed emotions there. The day before my birthday we had our first BQ at one of our Boat Club's. Had a great crowd close to 300 people. A lot of my siblings were there and one of my BFF's Linda and her family. Also I took my MomMa out of the home and she enjoyed it so much. My BFF surprised me with a Caravel Ice cream cake. My sister Milly surprised me with a cake she made from scratch with raspberry filling. ( J) surprised me with a beautiful cake with my favorite color green on it. So that was all nice. At work my boss did what she usually does ignored it. She is such a bitch. Last week I gave her a notice to be out for 2 weeks I do this every year.....Scheduled a medical procedure that I need and get 2 weeks to rest and go camping to recover.....Well she denied it. She truly believes RCA's are not entitled to any time off.....Grant it I have been there 16 freakin years working a few days every week, and If life was fair for me I should have had this route 3 years ago and getting paid to take time off. Being in this Union really sucks for RCA's. You always hear the harp get involved do more.....well I have attended all county meetings except the last one and it is all the same. The union uses RCA's dues as a buffer for the regulars benefits. I get on a roll about that UGH! The group that I joined "Ms. Fits" were we get together and go for a walk once a week, well last week we walked the RipVan Winkle Bridge. For any one WHO knows me....Knows I hate bridges and is afraid of heights. Well the bridge is a mile long, and at half of it you can look down and on both sides of you see the water. I have tried to walk it numerous times before and could never get the courage up.....But I did it! I walked across and back. Well I have much more to update about but now it's time to get ready and go to work.....Ugh I dread seeing that PM....she totally is on a EGO trip....Being a Black Postmaster and having all us little white slaves to work with. I can truly say that! Luckily this past few months I haven't heard her comment on my BFF about her family being a Apple Pie Family. Perhaps I should look into filing discriminating charges against her....humm. Happy Trails!!!

Trip To Scusset Beach

We left Saturday right after work, as gas prices started to rise. We waited till we left NY state to get gas, it is always cheaper on the Mass Pike. (J) has been on a no carb diet for the past 3 months and has lost 30lbs. Of course he has stayed away from his favorite foods, and now will take advantage for 4 days and eat some of his favorites. For me it means going away from my norm of my favorite foods and eating a bit different for the next few days. Our first stop on the Mass pike brought us great treat from Papa Gino's/Dangelo's, it totally beat McDonald's. They make the best pizza and subs. I totally hate going to Subway....To many decisions for me there.....you have to name your meat, veggies, bread, dressing. I like just saying a Italian sub and they make all the decisions. The rest of the food of the trip consisted of the best fried oysters and lobster bisque for me and fried clam strips and clam chowder for him from Seafood Sams. It was excellent. And making your own salads from the grocery store. We camped right at Scusset Beach. It is a state campground. Here are some postcards...

My Past Week

( This is a old picture, of a favorite lady in her son's green house at spring time)
This has been a fun filled week for me. Hectic and fun. I worked all week. Spent half of it up at Jenny's on the hill over looking the city. Which was great, I was in charge of the volume control in the house. When I went to sleep I would put the snooze button on her radio in her room to jazz, and the tunes would lightly drift into my room and I drifted off to sleep with Jeremiah ( My poodle, Godson) very close by. Now at home I would watch TV out in the living room all my favorite shows, with ( J) in his room watching his shows.....set of 2 different volumes. I would shut off my TV, go to bed with his shows in the back ground...( at times Nascar sounds would drift in....or should I say roar in. Making me getting ready for my summer move of going from the small side room into my big bedroom in the front of the house. I moved in there the same time last year. Work has been very busy....it seems like all week I was racing to get from one point to another. Actually even after work I felt the same way.....from running to go tanning to the store to get home. Would try to do some gardening before ( J ) made supper. That was a great help to me. He is slowly turning into a gourmet cook, adding spices. Which is great because I hate plain Jane food. My garden is coming alive...I have 2 lilac trees in bloom...I just love that. My white bleeding heart plant also is in full bloom. With so many other plants coming to life. I have joined a group I found on the computer....The name is called Ms. Fits. we meet once a week and go walking for 2 miles. This past Wednesday was our first meetup. There was 20 of us. I got to meet a lot of fun people and got in some great exercise. My sister was suppose to come, even made a pinky promise to me....but broke that....I expected that so I guess I wasn't to alarmed by it. I do believe she has different values in life than I do. The truth and promises aren't high on her list. As for me being honest, and promising people are pretty much a way of life. Guess that's what make people all different....Now I am running late again.....Happy Trails!!

Face Book Has Done Good Again

It's Saturday and I am off of work. But it will be a busy day for me. I have to take the New York Safe Boating course today. I started studying the book but with my ADD, I only got up to page 11. I figure I will learn it as he teaches. Ok, I am the only one who has diagnosed me with ADD, also I still think I have the swine flu. I decided to stop taking that nasal inhaler the dock gave me, I have had a headache for 3 days now.....at times it is like a migraine....I just want quiet. I will just take the antibiotic, and put my self on Tylenol sinus, that will dry up my head and my ear infection. Ok, some updates in my life. Remember me telling you about my brothers son I found on facebook. He lives in Colorado. Well I was so happy I had a connection with him. Well he disappeared.....no more word from him. I tried calling him and he hasn't responded. Hope he is ok. When I was living in Poughkeepsie, I met this girl named Carol. We became the best of friends. She was like a sister to me. All my other sisters were living some where else, and I did have my little sister there but Carol became my other sister. We had so much fun. I don't remember how we met. She went to a Catholic school and I was stuck in public school system. Even after I moved away we were still friends for a long time. Then we sorta drifted away doing our own thing. And lost track of each other. I always thought of her and wondered where she was. I couldn't remember her married name and would do searches using her maiden name but it is amazing how many Carol's there are wit her last name. Any how she found me on face book and I am so happy. I can't wait to see her and catch up on everything. This will be so cool to have her back in my life. Now I gotta run and get me some Nautical Knowledge....Happy Trails!!!

Having Fun

(picture of our spot on the family island)
I so enjoy my days off. My schedule is crazy for a bit. Since this route count, the route that I have been on for years is cut, and I am now on there every other Thursday. But I dare not get use to that.....It happened before when I was scheduled on Saturday's. I was enjoying not doing it every Saturday, then with out noticed they increased it to every Saturday. Now I think when I get used to being off every Thursday....Something will change that. With the weather being nice I have so much to do with spring cleaning, I do put that off till a rainy day and play in my garden. I have a lot of different garden area's so by the time I get one fixed and move on to the other, it becomes a continuing circle. The past few days here has been in the 90's so (J) and I have taken the small Bayliner out on the river and just drifted along. We have hiked along the tracks for miles and explored numerous stops along the way. We have found out that by our island which is close to the tracks that on the other side of those tracks are a inlet almost like a large pond, a lagoon where we counted over a dozen huge snapping turtles....amazing that they are so close to where we swim. I have had so much fun learning to ride my jet ski and so enjoy it. It makes me think of my good friend Mary enjoying her Harley. My new search now on my days off is doing digs for arrow heads. So much fun and still so little time. Today here in the North East it will feel like fall, our temperature will be 65 which is normal but after the .heat wave we had, it will feel weird. Happy Trails!

Menopause a challenge, or a savings

(Leaving Miami on the cruise)
The dreaded subject no one really wants to hear, but here goes. Not sure when it actually started......I still don't believe it is. I talked with my two older sisters and told them what was going on with me. My one sister is over 50. She was crying upset about how ill heath my one brother is in, I told her he will be fine it's me you gotta worry about. I get extreme hot flashes. I haven't had any sign of my period in 7 months. My get up and go at times seams to have get up and went. I don't notice any different signs of moodiness, at times I have always been moody, but not to the point any one notices. They usually see me as positive. My sister told me your just going through the change, its Menopause. When you think about that word what do you see....let me break it down for you Men O Pause.... At times you need to pause to deal with them. Stop and think before reaction. Here is a example....You clean the house all day, the kitchen is Germ free, floors spotless....Then he comes home....dirt on the floor from his work boots, food scraps and wrappers left out, all with in 5 minuets.....You want to yell and hit him but you must Pause! If it happened 2 years ago you could hit him but now you gotta Pause, O Men! When I was down in Florida and at times I would get a hot flash my other sister who is 2 years older than me would laugh and say Welcome to the club. She told me it could be a cold winter nigh and she would strip her clothes off and when that didn't help she would jump into the pool. So it's something we all go through....It happens any where from age 35-55, but the age ranges vary and it can last years......The money we save on tampon products with be wonderful. You figure at $10 a month, by the end of one year you save $120.00 after 10 years you save $12oo.oo How cool is that. Makes me wish I started mine at age 25. When I was also in Florida I went to Palm Sunday service, at the blessing of the Palms I started to pass out...people on both sides of me caught me...and I awoke.....Which was very weird. The other day Dr.Phil did a whole show on the subject. It was a wonderful understanding of it to watch. (J) taped it for me. They even did part of it on what Men go through.... I paused on that part....I shall watch it another time. Now its off to work...Happy Trails!!!

Home From My Holiday

Last Friday I hopped on a train here and headed down to Penn. That part of the journey was easy, and may I add comfortable. From there I hopped on train #91 to Florida.....I was assigned a seat...that was good untill we hit Jersey and they put this lady that was very nice, but she filled her seat and some of mine which if I was wanting to touch some one, she would not want to be my choice....sorry but I needed at least 2 inches between us. I asked to move and he really didn't want to give me a neither seat....he was like the Amtrak seat Nazi, Finally I did get to move to a seat alone for a bit. But, as we hit Washington I now had a new seat companion. This little boy that was going to Disney world with is Grandmother and sister...they sat across from us. He was so addorable I loved talking with him. His Grandmother broke her leg skiing, and his sister broke her leg the night before jumping down the stairs. I gotta give that lady credit for still going on the trip. Around 10 pm that night I was finally able to secure a cabin on the train, Yippie my own Toilet and bed. I think I fell asleep about 1 am and enjoyed a good night's sleep. The room is very small but it is so worth it. My sister in Florida laughed at me....she said I could have been there already and the price I spent I could have flown first class. But you know I would travel that way again.....The journey getting there is half the fun.....More tails on my travel on the morrow......Happy Trails!!!

Busy With Facebook

(Rays shine down from the Heavens above, to warm the Earth and our hearts, during the cold winter months- Helena
Greetings from the North East! It has been frigid here for the most part. We would get a few breaks from the cold than ,slap we get hit again with it. It has been a rough winter here, lots of snowy days and icy days. More snow than last year, which is good in some ways, I got to go cross country skiing a lot more than last year. I have been doing it alone, which is the sad part. Friends all seem to working on the days that I am free, and me working when they are not. Ugh! But I do get to see the beauty in nature and all. A little so much that it spooks me at times. At work I ski on my down time, there is a small patch of woods in between the house and the pond. The pond is rather large it is jointly owned by a few land owners. I ski around the pond and the beginning of the season I noticed a lot of deer tracks around the woods, all around the pond. And now I notice no deer tracks at all, but tons of other tracks......either mountain lions, or coyotes. Not really sure what they are but I can see them all over, even where the rest, and use the bathroom. At times I feel like part of the food chain out there. I am waiting for the full moon when i is bright at night and I can safely look out my bedroom window and see what is out there. My suspense grows. On another note I have also been very busy with face book. Having loads of fun keeping in touch with family and friends. Been having fun there passing drinks, throwing snowballs and water balloons and yes...ease dropping onto other siblings.....I just love it! Well time to go on and have Happy Trails!!!

The body I had when I was 20 shall mercilessly appear, yippie. I'll get laid this year for sure! OMG I sound like a commercial for Jenny. Today was a great start to the year .....I went riding on these country roads and took some shots I love, I really enjoyed that. I got home about 1pm and really had to scramble to do all that I wanted....and still I ran out of time....and now I am going to Chill out.....I am beat...think I got a bug and work hour comes might to soon. So what could have been a lenthy yadda...Is just a wish for you....that you all have had a great approach

My updates

Christmas time is such a busy time, I really am glad it is over so I can relax! I had so much work to do these past 2 weeks I couldn't wait to exhale. I was rushing here and there doing work, trying to shop it was freaking crazy. I never mailed out my Christmas cards, only like 8 of them......I still might mail them out, perhaps in August when I am on vacation and have time. It's funny Christmas time comes the same time every year but being a procrastinator I always have not enough time to do things. The holiday its self was very nice. We had snow and seeing and spending time with family is always fun. I got a lot of nice presents from every one. My favorite gift was my new camera....it is a kodak digital with a 12x zoom. I am still learning how to use it as a pro. These pictures of the deer were taken only a few feet from them.....My brother has them near his house and they are use to me. The first shot you can see the deer sticking his tongue out at me such a playful thing.

The last shot is of the sunset last night in the city....The sky was so colorful. Well now I gotta run to work. I can't wait to get done. I am redoing a old bed that I got out of the attic. It is probably close to a 1oo years old and someone painted it a bright yellow....I removed that layer of paint and found 2 more layers under that of various shades of white. I probably should have tried to keep the last layer on but I want to stain it so it matches the other furniture. I have been working on it for 12 hours so far, (J) says I am crazy I should just go out and buy one. But it will be much better knowing how hard I worked on it....when I am done I shall post a picture. For now.......Happy Trails!!!

Here in the Great North East, it seems we are almost out of the woods from the last storm, and a new one has hit. Last Thursday we got a ice storm and most places were with out power, and heat. The post office being one of those places. But it was sorta fun wearing our own, not Government supplied; head light gear so we could sort the mail. Of course that day the postmaster left after a couple of hours and who could blame her....I would have if I could...but I was not management. I had to deliver the mail. You know the saying...Snow , rain or all the crap the mail goes through... Most places were with out power till Tuesday....some still are with out. And today we got hit with a snow storm. The roads were treacherous delivering the mail. If all the mail boxes were on even terrain it might not have been so bad but needless to say they were not. I never thought I would see so many stupid thoughtless people in one day as I say today, from pulling out unexpectedly { no matter when that is never a go0d thing.

I could not wait for the day to be over. Dreading going back to the post office and having the postmaster Bitch because I ran 10minutes over on my delivery time...ugh I dreaded it and stressed my self out so much I got a freakin headache. But when I got back she said great job, you really did a great job. I am proud of you. You know that made it worth it. I always do a great job and never get the recognition for it, today I did. And right like that my head ache went away. As you can see these storms all have their beauty in them if only we look for the silver lining....so cliche" I know....Happy Trails!!

my yadda

{This is a old picture I have taken over the summer, it is like one of my favorites...A lone jogger on the beach, on a misty morning}

Time lapses inbetween my blogging. Seems like I am always so busy doing one thing or another. I really wanted to post Situation Sunday this past weekend. But we had our town's Christmas walk Saturday night, that was so much fun. Midgie and her husband and my 3 nephews all went with us, and the twins spent the night. The next morning Chef Ramsey....aka (J) cooked us all our favorite breakfast, Eggs any way we liked. That was very nice. And Sunday was spent holiday shopping with Midgie and Jessica....which was always fun for me.....I got a new sweater....scarf....Hat...leggins...oh, I was also able to find (J) a few things that will be a total surprise....whoo hoo!! And also this past week my nephew Johnathan passed his driving test...Yippie I am so proud of him....And all the hours of driving with him will be over,,,I will so miss that and the fun we had. But I still need to teach RJ and also Mikie so that I am sure will be fun. This am I was watching the news on Holiday Tipping, I swear most advice is so off the mark...Peter Post...Great-Grandson of Etiquette Expert Emily Post states for Home Health Aides =Home health employees: A gift, but check with the agency first, as most agencies have a no-gifts or no-tips policy. If this is the case, consider giving a donation to the agency. Give me a break on that,,,give to the agency Not!! Give to the aide that is proving the service of excellent care! And most of the Home Health Aides that Live-in help (nanny, housekeeper, cook, butler): One week's to one month's salary based on tenure and customs in your area, plus a personal gift, now that is much better. Also he states, Newspaper deliverer: $10 to $30 they bring you the paper....and they get that...Excuse me and the letter carrier who brings your important mail=Letter carriers: U.S. government regulations permit carriers to accept gifts worth up to $20 per occasion, not cash : now again I say that is hogwash! Use your own judgement and base that on the service you receive.....is your mail correct or do you constantly get your neighbors? Is your carrier friendly and professional? Do you find your packages up a tree or near your door? And just to inform the public the carriers are under a lot of pressure from management cutting their hours to do the same job with increasing boxes. They go through a lot of bull at least at our office. Management must get a large bonus on the backs of carriers, they get a check.....not a gift under $20....So use your head while tipping this year. Being the holiday season for giving I will be doing my annual fund drive for needy adults...(me), that would like a few extra gifts. Updates on that on a later date.....For now it is off to the race....( trying to get my route done in the allowed( hogwash) time , and hoping the postmaster is off doing her other thing. Happy Trails!!

Procrastinators Unite

Busy, busy bee. That's how I would describe myself.Or perhaps that is what I blame my procrastination on......I am almost ready to close the suitcase....I leave in a hour, Woohoo- My journey begins. I had so much freaking shopping to do before I go. Yes, I have new outfits, And I had to get new jewelry to much. I hit Burlington Coat factory yesterday...I really just needed a nice scarf...and maybe a shirt, I walked away with 5 shirts, 2 scarfs, underclothes. (J) does not understand why I take so long. But I could have spent hours in that store....I didn't even go in the shoe department or household,,,,I need to get back to that store. Usually I just go to Kohles, but yesterday I went there and to the Label Shopper store. I promise when I come home I will go throu my closets and donate a huge selection to goodwill. There that makes me feel better. This week my boy had his driving test....( Ok, he's really not my boy, but my nephew) He got such a prick as a instructor. When I saw him he reminded me of a pointdexter, Johnathan thought he was a nerd. He was so freaking cold...like a human computer. Well he failed, him. I suppose he was doing his job.....but if he would have been a little bit more human the blow of failing wouldn't have been so bad. If any one knows my nephew he thrives on perfection....being a straight A student. I think he just got nervous, because he is a good driver. Now it is back to practicing. Also RJ needs more practice and my other boy Mikie just got his permit and I need to take him driving. I think after they all get there licence's I will put a halt to my driving instructor day's. Three boys is enough teaching......I will let another aunt or uncle teach them,....Ya right, lol. Well it's off to my journey.....I will be in Virginia for the rest of the week! And they say Virginia is for lovers WooHoo!! Happy Trails!!!

Who will you be Voting for

I started this this AM, and ran out of time to adjust it, and blog about it. As this election draws near, I hope all that are capable to vote shall do so. I have 7 other siblings in my family that can vote. I am sure 2 of them won't and the others are half voting Republican, and half voting Democratic. Who is right it's a matter of choice and who you believe. Will promises get broken after the election....this I believe will always happen. I think McCain would do better if he went with a different running "mate" for vise president.....I think there were many other people to choose that would have been better than Palin. I think since Barack didn't choose Hillery....McCain thought his choice would some how make himself look like the better man....It didn't work. Do some see Barack as a radical, a Muslim? When I see and hear him talk he makes a lot more sense to me, and seems down to earth. Both candidates are very great men, worthy of a term in the white house to serve us citizens. Barack has my vote whether it be right or wrong......but I exercised my right to vote and I hope I made the right choice

Weekend update

Time has moved forth from the last time I blogged....seemed like it was just yesterday but in reality it has been a week if not more. I am busy as usually with only one day off which really sucks. This week is my last week of doing double duty. Here it is only Monday the start of the week and I am dreading it. Not that the week holds doom and gloom, I love my jobs but when I have to do them back to back with just a hour in between I tend to get crabby. This Sunday I planned to stay close to home and get caught up on MEEE time. I got off work at 9:30am, ran home for a brief minute, then off to the home to see my MommA', On the way I stopped at farm stand picked up corn for corn fritters, and some tomatoes for this tomatoe slice bake I wanted to make. There was a sign there that said Brussels sprouts....but no sprouts.....they said they were out picking and due to a accident they couldn't get throu yet...come back. Visited my MommA' for 45 minutes. Back to the farm stand I go. No sprouts yet....come back. UGH. Off to my home to shower....then bank....then to farm stand again.....they had them Yippie, also grabbed green beans Yummie! Went and picked up my nephew, met up with Midgie and Mikie....We headed to great barrington to shop and lunch for just a little while...Ok I thought I will be home by 3pm......it was 7pm by the time I got home.....to tired to cook....{J} grilled the steaks and zapped the corn.....my day is over....no Meee time....Laundry is pilling up, the dust bunnies have multiplied, and I am getting longing for this week to be over and Sunday here again.....But in the mean time I shall venture forth and remain on this Happy Trail!!!

Yadda...Yadda...Yadda

Here are a few shots from my garden over the weekend. This first shot is of my autum children, and a little creativity. It is in my side yard and I just love them, need I say more....Ok I will- They are great kids. When I purchased them J told me how stupid and a waste of money that was, ignoring his neaderthal behavior I went and had fun doing it any how. I also collected a lot of Dahlia bulbs this year, and had a beautiful coloction of flowers. The frost has not hit them yet so I am still enjoying there beauty. I have gave away a few bunches of them to friends and family. Soon as the frost hits I will dig up the roots and put them in a box with some peat moss and hide them in the cellar. Then I hope to remember them next spring. Today I also started making crock pickles and can't wait till they are done in about 3 weeks. I am planning a trip.....I am going to go by train to Virginia soon. My nephew retires from the Navy after 20 years. He has served in Desert Storm, and Iraq. So this is pretty special. I believe he is a Commander. It will be great fun hanging out with the family for a few days. I plan to go business class, so who knows might meet so one special.....Speaking of special, or touched might be a better word for it. I ran into the local drugstore today to drop off some scripts. There was this lady there that I worked with before like 15 years ago, even back then I thought her elevator didn't get to the second floor, any how she was in a pair of fuzzy freaking PJ's.....When I asked her why ,,,she said because she can- OK, I thought. Then she went on to tell me she's at the Coxiackie Prison. I asked as a Inmate. I found it funny and it seemed to suit her look. She used to be pretty...now she looks like a Junkie.....No teeth...face sunken in. Made me wonder why they didn't seem to screen their applicants working in a prison. She did seem to even grow a set of balls by her reply to me. Don't actually remember what she said or how she said it, it was something on the line of what drugs are you on. I never hold back in saying what I think....some of my friends remind me at times not to use that inside voice but it just comes out. I started this yesterday but had to end quick with Midgie come over to go with me to get my ticket at the train station. So now as I finish this I look on my ticket and realize the hotty of the ticket teller gave me this month instead of next so I had to run down and correct it......Hair all in place,,,,street clothes I went only to not see him there but I did correct my ticket......Happy Trails!!!

Like Waldo, I am Here Somewhere

I tried to slow down a bit and blog, I miss that part of my life. But it seems all my time is occupied with either work, or my garden and my projects. Plus I am teaching my two nephews to drive. One is 16 and he is determined to get his licence before winter, most of his friends are all trying to. One friend rushed into going on the road test and failed it big time. So now Johnathan realizes there is a lot to learn. We have so much fun learning to drive and laugh so hard at times. It is different than learning to drive with his parents, they seem to yell. At times he has a led foot, humm wonder where he learned that. Any how he has the road driving and almost the city driving, we are now practicing parel parking, he hates it. But with time he will get it great I am sure. RJ does good on the road he just needs to adjust his speed with the brake with out causing his aunt to suffer whip lash and the passengers in the back to remain in the back. Last week we all headed to Saugerties for the garlic festival. Midgie and my other nephews and niece came, plus a BBF of mine, Karen. We had a blast. I even bought way to much "things" that I really don't need. I have Polish garlic, German garlic and I really can't tell the freaking difference on ether one. This coming up week end is a Apple festival that I would love to go to, but with only one day off and wanting to do that, plus go hiking I am torn into what I want to do. { J } would like to do something, I think but he refuses to go if I am taking the boys, Well Johnathan has to work so I hope to hang out with RJ and spoil him. I told {J} that is his dissuasion, I think I have more fun with hanging with my family and friends any how, So we shall see. I am also going to post Situation Sunday this I promise. I will do it definitely once a month till more people want to play then it will more on to every other week as planned. Well its a coal mining day so gotta run, won't get done from my day till 9pm. I change hats at 5pm. Happy Trails!!!

Yadda Update

Today is a yucky day here in the North East. I awoke to rain, now I love the sound of rain and at times welcome a rainy day to stay at home and get caught up on house chores, watch some TV...cook...play some of my music. But today I have to deliver the mail ugh. All it means to me is a wet day, hair all a mess, and it always sets me daydreaming. Lately I have been really getting anode at the fact I work so much and ( J ) doesn't. Grant it all the work I do is because I want to be able to enjoy life not just "get by". He pays all the bills and saves every penny. When we go out to dinner I foot the bill, and he does not even enjoy being there. I really need to figure all this out. There is so much I like to do with a partner that he does not. Do I need to move on and grow or just stay and "get by" with the hum drum of things....So much to think about. These pictures on the page are from our last camping trip on Cape Cod. I have to remind my self of the things we do that are fun. But then I think....I love photography....Did he take any interest in my pictures...did he see these shots...No. And that bugs me. I look at my picture taking as a form of art....Some day I would love to have one whole room with some of my pictures enlarged in it. Time to get ready for work. Wishing I was on this sail boat, enjoying all that is around me. Sunday I will post Situation Sunday, I post it every other Sunday, from the tracker I can tell numerous people check it out, but none play or leave there link, spread the word!! And play along. How does that saying go ,,,,If you don't use it you will loose it. Happy Trails!!!

The Camping Trip

We are home from our trip. I really didn't want to come home yet. We started out on Sunday, the 7Th day of this month. Headed straight to Mohegan Sun for some gaming and dinner. It was not my lucky time, I lost. We did have a great dinner at the Buffet and even ran into a friend and member from our one boat club. All the years going there we never run into any one we know so that was a surprise. On Monday we headed to Rhode Island, we walked along the Cliff walk. It was breath taking! The weather was perfect and every where you looked you wanted to capture that picture. From there we headed down to Scusset State Park. There we set up the camper nestled in between the trees and the shrubs. We

were right next to the ocean on one side and the canal on the other side. It was very neat watching the boats go up and down the canal. By taking the canal the ships saved 162 miles. Instead of going all the way to the tip of Cape Cod, the took the 7 mile canal trip and saved hours of travel. I found it to be very interesting. Along the canal there is a service road that goes the whole length, that is mostly used for biking, jogging and walking. We rode our bikes about 1/4 of the way. Next time I go I will spend the whole day riding from beginning to end. Now that I am home my run on the rat wheel begings. I have to be to work by 5pm....and I need to go visit a few friends first. This Sunday I shall go back to Situation Sunday....for now I will end with a shot I love, Happy Trails!!!
